Joann Jungst, 70, of Libby

Joann Jungst, 70, of Libby, passed away at home on Monday, Sept. 23, 2013, with family and friends by her side.  

Joann was born July 8, 1943, in St. Anthony, Idaho, to Loren and Ramona (Hathaway) Williams.  She graduated from Yamato High School at the Tachikawa Air Force base in Japan.

Joann married Ragnor Ringsbye in the early 1960s,  and they had two boys, Bob and Ron, and one daughter, Sharon.  

Joann married Phil Jungst on May 8, 1979, and they had one son, Jesse. During the years, Joann worked for J. Neils Lumber, Co., and as a waitress. She had worked at 4Bs for 17 years, retiring on New Year’s Day of 2000. She enjoyed knitting and loved skiing and camping at Howard Lake.  

Joann was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Proxy.

Survivors include her husband, Phil Jungst; children, Jesse Jungst, Bob Ringsbye, Ron Ringsbye, and Sharon Jungst; brothers, Bud Williams, Bob Schartz, Eddie Schartz and Freddie Schartz; sisters, Patricia Williams and Mary Schartz; and grandchildren, Maria, Tony, Sierra, Arriana, Kali Jo and Randy.

Services for Joann will be at 1 p.m. Monday, Sept. 30, 2013, at Schnackenberg & Nelson Funeral Home Chapel, 422 W 2nd St, in Libby.

Visitation will be from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 29, 2013.
