Cross-country teams get fifth

The Libby boys’ and girls’ cross-country teams participated in a 3.1-mile meet in Coeur d’Alene on Saturday. Both teams finished fifth of six teams.

According to Coach Rod Tempel, the course is a wild one, mostly hacked out of woods with steep hills. The student’s times follow:

Boys

Cody Barrick 20:07, Jay Steele 22:04, Billy Topaz 22:27, Raiven Mathiason 23:03, Caleb Broderick 23:55, Alan Rice 24:07, Caleb Hooper 24:34, Tyler Doubek 28:28.

Girls

Courtney Bowe 27:35, Alee Julson 27:36, Taylor Quinn 27:41, Lexis Higareda 30:00, Kiara McLinden 33:46, Grace Doolin 34:11, Laura Bales 34:11.
