Turner ski patrol plans training

The Turner Mountain Ski Patrol will conduct a training session from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 7, at Turner Mountain.

Various ski rescue techniques will be practiced, including a chairlift rescue.

Trainees and other interested persons should plan on being there by 10 a.m. Saturday.

Persons with rescue gear are welcome to bring their gear. Patrol rescue gear will be available, too.

The training session will be followed by a potluck and barbecue.
