Trojans close season with 34-21 win; Libby ends with 35-14 defeat

Area football teams ended their seasons on conflicting notes.
The Troy Trojans came back from a 14-0 deficit to win 34-21 on the road against St. Ignatius.
Running back Sean Opland ran for 180 yards on 16 carries. Quarterback Gabe Hickman threw for 154 yards and ran for another 155 yards. Receiver Gage Tallmadge recorded seven receptions for 92 yards and a score.
The Loggers found themselves down 35-0 at halftime before rallying midway through the fourth quarter to end their season with a 14-point rally. An onside kick and a bone-jarring hit sparked Libby before the comeback fizzled out.
Quarterback Jared Winslow finished with 121 yards passing and running back Nic Roberston scored a touchdown.
