Helping Hand seeks children to assist

The Give a Helping Hand Christmas Program is gearing up again.

Families in need of assistance during this time of the year are asked to call Fran Stanton at 295-4542.

Stanton has been doing this successful program for the last 34 years, and it will continue this year.

Persons are asked to call between 10 a.m. and 8 p.m., and parents should have the following information available when they call: name of child; age of child; size of clothing, proof of eligibility (a copy will be required) and a list of assets such as properties owned.

The deadline for applying is 5 p.m. Oct. 30. 

Persons wishing to contribute to the annual effort should call Fran at 295-4542.
