Suicide prevention class scheduled

People are invited to attend QPR suicide prevention training Thursday at the Venture Inn.

Attendees can choose either a 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. or 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. time slot.

QPR stands for Question, Persuade and Refer. Joan Schmidt will instruct.

The event is sponsored by Karl Rosston, suicide prevention coordinator for the Department of Health & Human Services.
