Sept. 21
• A woman on Woodland Road reported that her husband had been threatened.
Sept. 22
• A man on Highway 37 near mile-marker No. 37 requested an ambulance for his wife, who was experiencing extreme abdominal pain and general weakness. The woman was transported to St. John’s Lutheran Hospital.
• A man on Highway 2 reported his wife unresponsive but breathing. The woman was transported to St. John’s Lutheran Hospital.
• A man on Woodland Road reported his girlfriend seizing and vomiting. The woman was transported to St. John’s Lutheran Hospital.
• A caller reported a fire near Parsnip Creek. The fire did not appear to be a prescribed burn.
• A man on Montana Avenue reported his nine-year-old daughter as a runaway. She had been missing for 30 minutes.
• A caller on Treasure Avenue reported an apparently homeless man putting items into a storage shed.
• A woman calling from California Avenue attempted to report something about rabbits. Due to intoxication and background noise, she was unable to clearly communicate her concern. She was advised to call the non-emergency line.
Sept. 23
• A caller reported a fawn hit by a car. The deer was euthanized.
• A caller on Montana Avenue reported a theft of saddles from a horse trailer.
• Katy Huggins was arrested on a warrant but released because of a medical condition.
• A man on Highway 2 reported three of his tires slashed during the night of Sept. 20.
• A caller on Snowshoe Road reported a horse trailer was vandalized on his property.
• A caller reported an injured deer in the ditch across the airport on Farm to Market Road.
Sept. 24
• A woman on Halo Drive reported being verbally threatened by her husband before he left for work. He has been physically abusive and threatening in the past.
• A man on Highway 2 reported that his mother was receiving threatening phone calls from a man saying she has won large amounts of money.He wanted her to pay $500 cash for expenses. The trickster requested discretely meeting the woman in town to discuss money. The son confronted the trickster and had his life threatened.
• A caller at St. John’s Lutheran Hospital reported finding a trifold wallet with a Washington identification.
• A caller on Pinewood Lane reported the neighbors are burning green wood and filling the area with smoke.
• A woman on Commerce Way reported a man attempting to enter her apartment. The man walked away toward the college. He was blonde with a hat and plaid shirt.
Sept. 25
• A caller on Bull Lake Road reported his neighbors in the apartment next door were blaring music again.
• A caller reported a yellow dog barking at people and running loose at the intersection of Main Avenue and Oak Street.
• A caller reported the locks cut on the Upper Flower Creek Dam gate.
• A woman on California Avenue reported someone erasing her emails.
• A caller on Highway 2 requested an ambulance. The caller reported falling down a flight of stairs the day before and now suffering from migraines. The person was transported to St. John’s Lutheran Hospital.
• A woman on Highway 2 reported theft from her deceased mother’s property.
• A woman reported a blue pickup truck, possibly a Chevy, swerved into her lane several times on Highway 2 near Saverite South. The truck turned up Shaughnessy Hill.
Sept. 26
• A caller reported an 8-year-old stepdaughter was to stay with family members in Kalispell until Sept. 2. The phone number she had was now disconnected.
• A woman at Treasure Avenue reported feeling afraid of her boyfriend.
• A caller at Ace Hardware reported a theft. The caller knew the name of the offending child’s mother.
• A caller reported a deer with a broken leg near the softball fields by the cemetery.
• Jeffrey Adamson was arrested and charged with probation violation.
• A woman on Snowshoe Road reported an injured deer in her field.
• A woman at Green Meadow Manor reported a past tenant entering the building and taking items.
• Cory James was arrested and charged with probation violation.
• A caller reported a loud bang near the corner of Balsam Street and Idaho Avenue. A second caller reported a loss of power on Nevada Avenue.
Sept. 27
• A caller on Conifer Road reported a stolen purse from her car in the driveway.
• A caller on West 9th Street reported an assault just occurred in his store. One of the fighters suffered a gash over his eye.
• A woman on Rustic Avenue reported someone broke into her car and stole CDs last night.
• A woman reported leaving her wallet at First Montana Bank. It is teal and has an infinity sign and says “love” on the front.
• Coby Garrison was arrested and charged with probation violation.
• A man reported finding a student stealing while attending the Libby High School football game.
• Richard Demski was arrested and charged with partner-family member assault.
Sept. 28
• Joshua Peterson was arrested and charged with aggravated assault and assault with a weapon.
• A man on Champion Haul Road reported that he believes his son stole his gun about three weeks ago before leaving town.
Sept. 29
• A group of youths were found to be having an illegal party at the top of Poker Ridge.
• A man on Park Street reported a black bear passing through his property.
• A woman on Parmenter Avenue reported waking around 2:30 that morning and seeing two young men walking up her driveway. When they saw her they turned around and entered a loud car. They drove a ways before turning on their headlights. The woman requested extra patrol.
• A woman at Rosauers reported a sewing machine stolen out of her vehicle.
• Multiple callers reported a rollover accident on Highway 37 near Edge Water Drive. The driver was transported to St. John’s Lutheran Hospital.
• Douglas Edward Skoczek II was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct.
Sept. 30
• A caller reported an injured elk on Highway 2 near mile-marker No. 20.
• A woman reported receiving a call from the Troy Police Department, reporting she had threats against her life.
• A caller from East Side Road reported the family dog being shot by an older man in a white Chevy pickup truck. The motive was undetermined.
• A student pulled the fire alarm at Libby High School.
• A man called to report the U.S. Postal Service for stealing his mail.
Oct. 1
• A woman on Montana Avenue reported hearing what sounded like two high-powered rifle shots between her residence and Highway 2.
• Someone reported stolen medication from their residence on Highway 2.
• A deer was reported injured and later euthanized on Highway 2.
• A caller reported a black lab female had just been struck by a vehicle. The dog just had puppies.
Oct. 2
• A caller from Farm to Market Road reported striking a deer with his vehicle. The vehicle suffered heavy front-end damage including busted lights and a bent hood.
• A caller on Evergreen Lane reported her mail stolen from her roadside mailbox.
• A man on Hamann Avenue reported receiving a call from a foreign-speaking female advising he needed a new Social Security card. The man provided all his information. When he realized something wrong, he called Social Security, but was advised nothing could be done during the government shut down.
• A female shoplifter was cited at Rosauers.
• Kristine Joy Noble was arrested and charged with partner-family member assault and assault with a weapon.
Oct. 3
• A caller from the Juvenile Probation Office reported a theft.
• The animal shelter reported possessing a stray Australian cattle dog.
• A man on Cedar Hill Creek Road reported a burglarized abandoned house on the street. The crime took place weeks ago but the man wanted to report it so he was not blamed.
