BUTTE — Butte-Silver Bow officials are installing surveillance cameras at some park locations hoping to stop vandalism.

Parks and Recreation Coordinator E. Jay Ellington tells the Montana Standard that the cameras will snap photos when motion is detected.

Ellington says the images will only be reviewed if vandalism or other crimes have occurred.

About eight of the $200 cameras are being purchased and installed.
