Cross Country times keep improving

| October 11, 2013 4:18 PM

The Libby cross-country team traveled to Thompson Falls on Oct. 3 for a meet. Fourteen of the 24 runners recorded personal records.

“The number of personal records is surprising considering the grassy conditions of the course,” Head Coach Rod Tempel said. “It takes more energy to run on a soft surface.”

Cody Barrick led the way for the boys and improved his time by 31 seconds.

The team runs next at 11 a.m. Saturday in Whitefish.

Following the run in Whitefish on Saturday, the team will return the following Saturday for the Divisional competition.
