Land swap hearing is set for Oct. 14

| October 8, 2013 7:30 PM

Libby School District and Lincoln County officials have scheduled a public comment event for 5:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 14, to discuss a swap of lands between the district and the county.

The deal, which is seen as mutually beneficial for both taxing agencies, looks to swap about 30 acres near Libby High School for a tract of land near the McGrade Center, which is owned by the county.
