Sept. 7

• A man in the 1000 block of  Farm to Market Road reported problems with his girlfriend’s ex-. The ex- was at the house to drop off 13-year-old child and refused to leave. The child was in the ex-’s vehicle and would not get out.

• A caller reported the theft of a motor for a Ferguson tractor on Ural St.

• A woman reported a fawn with a broken leg on Pipe Creek Road near Sheldon Mountain. The deer was euthanized.

• A caller on Voves Ave. reported an increasingly aggressive deer.

• A caller at the Town Pump reported seeing a motorist in a vehicle’s trunk put a dog into the trunk and drive south down Highway 2.

• A woman reported her vehicle burglarized on Mineral Ave.

• A caller from St. John’s Lutheran Hospital reported an assault victim that came in the night before.

Sept. 8

• A caller on Farm to Market Road reported a newer station wagon chasing deer.

• A caller reported a man in a black trench coat and straw-colored cowboy hat removing items from a trailer at Carr’s Auto Sales. The man had permission to be there.

• A caller from the Town Pump reported hearing of young males planning to steal several cartons of cigarettes.

• A caller at 256 Hogan Drive reported being harassed by his brother who is also a neighbor.

• A woman reported a theft from her business at 34256 Highway 2 the night prior.

• A woman reported hitting a deer with her vehicle along Highway 2 near mile marker No. . 29 and no longer being able to drive the vehicle.

Sept. 9

• A man at Rainbow Apartments reported that his manager is telling people he stole cash from his manager’s apartment while his manager was passed out drunk in the room.

• A caller at 16 Ski Roadreported a bullet found in his neighbors trailer following a disturbance the night prior.

• Many callers reported a mule standing on Highway 37 near Mac’s Market.

• A caller reported items taken outside of the Lickety Split.

• A woman reported pulling over to take pictures at Osprey Landing and leaving her car unlocked. When she returned she noticed her camera bag and contents missing.

• D.J. Savage and Sandra Laffoon were located in Portland, Oregon.

• A man filed a disturbance complaint of neighbor dogs at on Yaak River Road barking all night while their owner was out of town.

• A woman at 307 W. 2nd St. No. 32 reported the theft of her purse from her vehicle the night prior.

• A stolen vehicle was reported on Osloski Road.

Sept. 10

• A woman reported her child’s father was putting his hands on her and taking their child on Champion Haul Road.

• A couple’s in-vehicle security system reported their vehicle had struck a deer on Highway 37 near mile marker No. 3. The vehicle was no longer drivable.

• A man reported that his trailers at Reese Trail Court had been padlocked with a bill attached.

• A caller reported a possibly stolen riding lawn mower on Cox Lane.

• A caller reported a bad check at 1322 Montana Ave.

• A man on Reese Court No. 17 reported a lost yellow lab with a black collar and no tags.

• A woman on Evergreen Lane reported a screaming woman.

Sept. 11

• A caller reported a possibly injured fawn in Pioneer Park near Main Avenue. The fawn was with its mother but appeared unable to get up.  

• A man called from 446 Farm to Market Road while arguing about children with his wife. Her yells were heard in the background.

• A man reported the back door of his rental property on Nevada Ave. kicked in.

• A man called from Middle Thompson reporting his wife for refusing to leave their camper. The man grew irate and hung up.

• A woman on Granite Ave. reported a small fawn stuck upside-down in her fence.

• A caller reported a deer struck by a vehicle on Highway 2 near Saverite West. The deer was found and determined to be healthy enough to avoid euthanization.

Sept. 12

• A woman reported the theft of a deposit she made earlier at LOV ‘n Care Daycare.

• Lauren Jo Lebow was arrested on charges of driving with a suspended license and issuing bad checks.

• A Libby High School student was arrested for minor possession of alcohol or tobacco.

• A deer in need of euthaization was reported on Parmenter Creek Road.

• Ryan Montgomery was arrested and charged with aggravated assault with a weapon.

• A woman reported two puppies running into traffic on Highway 2 near McDonalds. The owners were located and the puppies secured.

• A caller reported a fight occurring at Home Bar.

• A man on W. 3rd St. No. 9 reported being harassed by his neighbor.

• A caller reported a rolled-over vehicle on Highway 37. Pictures and statements were taken. The driver refused medical attention.

• A caller reported a white Ford Ranger in the ditch with a shattered windshield on Highway 56 near mile-marker No. 12.

• Someone reported seeing Reddi-wip cans every day in Firemans Park.

• A woman at 247 Conifer Road reported a younger woman with a Russian accent stopping by her house offering to sell her books. The older woman found this suspicious.

Sept. 13

• A father reported his daughter being possibly assaulted a few nights ago. He brought her in to talk to an officer after school.
