aid veterans’ effort

Lincoln County Sheriff Roby Bowe and his team of deputies, detention officers, dispatchers and administrative personnel have raised nearly $1,500 so far for the veterans’ memorial project.

In addition to employees’ donations, the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Reserves, a nonprofit sheriff’s office support organization, is offering the drawing of a .308 Remington 700 bull barrel retired tactical rifle. The rifle is on display at Mac’s Market.

Tickets are available at Mac’s Market until Sunday, Dec. 1. The drawing will be held on Dec. 2, and the winner will be notified by phone.

Libby Archery Club

to meet Dec. 3

The Libby Archery Club will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 3, at First Montana Bank on Mineral Avenue.

The public is welcome.
