Nov. 15
• A caller on Kootenai River Road reported striking a deer with his vehicle near mile-marker No. 3. The vehicle’s bumper, grille, hood and passenger-side door were damaged. The deer was dead and off the road.
• A caller on Northwood Road reported receiving a phone call from a scammer. The caller said a large sum of money and a car would be exchanged for the number on the back of a green dot MoneyPak card.
• A caller on Yellowtail Road reported receiving a call from a person who falsely identified himself as a Microsoft tech support person. The caller said dangerous viruses were on the person’s computer. The person hung up.
• A caller on Highway 2 reported a person knocking on their door several times late at night. A second call was soon received from Belvue Trailer Park reporting similar activity.
Nov. 16
• A husband calling from a hotel reported his wife abusing him and his daughter.
• A friend brought a woman into the sheriff’s office. The woman was the victim of a domestic dispute that occurred earlier in the day.
• A man in the Libby Creek area reported accidently shooting a man in the leg.
• A woman on Highway 2 reported striking a deer with her 2011 Subaru. The Subaru was no longer drivable.
• A driver on Highway 2 reported striking a deer with his vehicle. The deer was euthanized.
• Emily Helgeson was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct.
• A woman on Blubaugh Lane reported receiving a call from a person saying she was the victim of credit card fraud. The caller wanted the woman’s credit card information.
Nov. 17
• Mandy Nichole Andrews was arrested on a warrant and charged with failure to appear.
• A woman on Commerce Way reported another woman stole items from her purse.
• A woman at St. John Lutheran Church reported two moose attracting attention near the church.
• Daniel Joseph Lyle was arrested on a warrant.
• A woman turned in a handgun she found in Libby.
• A man on Pinkham Creek Road reported someone shot his dog.
• Kyle Bruce Drury was arrested and charged with criminal possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of dangerous drugs, driving with a suspended license, driving without liability insurance and open container.
Nov. 18
• Michelle Fawn Breezley was arrested and charged with failure to appear.
