Brent McCollum, 43, of Libby

Brent Allen McCollum, 43 of Libby passed away Nov. 12, 2013 in Noonan, N.D.

He was born July, 14 1970, in Missoula to John McCollum and Sheri Meyer.

He loved telling jokes, spending time with family and friends and raising his pigs and cows. He loved his Seattle Seahawks and doing burnouts with his Camaro in the garage.

In 2011 he started his own business, MasseyMcCollum Oil Field Services. He enjoyed going to work with his kids, Sari Wolff and Karson McCollum, every day.

He moved to Libby in 1993 and worked for Stimpson Lumber until 2004.

In 2004 he moved to Clatskanie, Ore. In 2007 he moved back to Libby and worked for Noble Construction until moving to Noonan, N.D., in 2010.

Brent is preceeded in death by his mother Sheri Meyer; his father John McCollum; his maternal grandparents Donna and Lenard Flink; paternal grandparents Opal and John McCollum; and mother-in-law Sharon Parker.

Survivors include his wife, Audray McCollum; children Sari (Jesse) Wolff of Crosby, N.D.; son Karson McCollum of Crosby, N.D.; wife Audray McCollum; brother Kevin (Johnny) McCollum-Blair of Everett, Wash., sister Tami (Tom) Hengel of Missoula; special adopted mother Aliee Broemling Juillietta; grandchildren Trayton Wolff, Bentley Wolff and Layne Wolff; and numerous nieces and nephews. Everyone was family in Brent’s eyes.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Nov. 23 at Libby Christian Church. A luncheon will follow at the VFW.
