Bower excels in Army training

Jordan Bower has shown his mettle as he was named honors graduate during his U.S. Army Airborne training as a member of Bravo Company, 1st Battalion (ABN) 507th Infantry.

Bower, 21, a former Libby resident, completed basic training in September from  Fox Company 1-19 at Fort Benning, Ga.

Bower’s next assignment is Special Forces selection and assessment at Fort Bragg, N.C.

Bower is the grandson of Linda and Martin Bower of Libby.
