Libby man dead after head-on collision in N.D.

Libby resident Brent McCollum died Tuesday following a head-on collision with a UPS semitailer on Highway 5.

The crash occurred just after 5:30 p.m. CST three miles west of Noonan, N.D. According to the police report, McCollum's 2013 Ford F350 crossed the center line and stuck the semi.

The driver of the semi, as well as McCollum, died on scene. Both drivers were wearing seatbelts.

McCollum was the President and CEO of MasseyMcCollum Oil Field Services.
