Lawrence grateful for community support

Letter to the Editor,

I would like to thank all those who supported me in the 2013 City Council race.

It has been my privilege to serve the residents of Libby the previous four years as a council member.  Although I was unsuccessful in my re-election bid, I am pleased with the results of the election.  

The city has a very capable mayor and council to deal with the issues at hand. I would like to encourage the public to become more involved in city politics by regularly attending council meetings.  

If you really want to know what is going on, find out for yourself. Often the rumors circulating in the community are grossly inaccurate.
