Roll, Coldwell win mayoral races

Incumbent Doug Roll won the Libby mayoral race over challenger Allen Olsen by a close margin, while Darren Coldwell won easily over incumbent Tony Brown in Troy.

Roll defeated Olsen by 13 votes, and Coldwell handily defeated Brown 225-98.

These are unofficial results.

Robin Benson retains her seat on the Libby council, garnering the most votes with 343. Challenger Brent Teske received the second most votes, 309, to win a seat. Incumbent Barbara Desch slighted incumbent Vicky Lawrence by a single vote, 250-249.

Michael Shock finished with 201, Joanne Woods Newman with 140 and Arlen Magill had 138.

In the Troy City Council race, for the second time in two years there will be new faces joining the board. Challengers Dallas Carr and Kimberly Rowse won with 205 and 148 votes, respectively.

Incumbent Phil Fisher finished with 129 votes. Donna Lee Rugani had 107 votes.
