Oct. 17

• A woman on Farm to Market Road reported a man lurking in her yard. The woman screamed loudly and the lurker scurried off.

• A man on Hammer Cut Off Road said he received a call informing him that he won money and a vehicle. The man knew it was a scam when the caller asked for money.

• A caller at Shopko reported a man sitting on a riding lawn mower who appeared to have fallen asleep.

• Lloyd Cooper was arrested and charged with driving under the influence.

Oct. 18

• Multiple callers reported a man driving between the Middle Thompson campground and Highway 2. The man was parking in the roadway for long periods of time. Callers were concerned that the man would cause an accident. The driver was reported to have been talking strangely.

• A man reported being assaulted by an 18-year-old man at Libby High School after a football game.

• A woman on Montana Avenue reported that a man she is trying to get an order of protection against is sitting across the street from her house.

Oct. 19

• A caller on Parmenter Drive and Education Way reported a horse tangled in a fence.

• A caller on Kootenai River Road reported a dead dear in the travel lane near the 1-1/2 mile-marker.

• Darcy Allene Carvey was arrested on a warrant for a fourth DUI.

• A caller at Lucky Lil’s Casino reported that half an hour ago a woman drove into the casino with her car. The woman was still in the casino.

• A caller at Loon Connector Road reported two flags vandalized on his property.

• A woman at Riverview Drive reported a person in a white van with Washington plates going through mailboxes at the top of her driveway. Three of the boxes had been opened and mail was left scattered on the road.

Oct. 20

• A woman on Pioneer Road reported someone must have loosened the lug nuts on her vehicle and now her tire fell off. The woman quickly called back and said her tires were rotated a few weeks ago and the lug nuts must have bounced loose.

• A caller from Cabinet View Golf Course reported that someone took 10 gallons of fuel from the course fuel tank last night. The lock was cut off. The camera they had set up to monitor the tank was turned around and all the pictures on the memory card were deleted. This was not the first incident.

• Victor Manuel Salazar was arrested and charged with speeding, a stop sign violation, criminal endangerment and driving without a license.

• A woman at Vanderwood Road reported a scruffy black dog had wandered into her yard. The dog was from Vancouver.

• A caller on Minnesota Avenue reported a theft of drugs. It was not clear whether the missing drugs were pharmaceuticals.

• A caller on Shaughnessy Hill Road reported a bear in his garbage, again.

Oct. 21

• A woman called from Granite Avenue reporting that she had fallen and possibly broken her hip.

Oct. 22

• A man on Terrace View Road reported receiving calls from an East Indian man asking for his medical information.

• A caller near Libby Creek said he fell off his horse and had been kicked. He was complaining of head and neck injuries.

• A caller from Dome Mountain Avenue reported a chimney fire.

Oct. 23

• A woman on Vanderwood Road reported a couple of bears had ripped up some boards on her porch attempting to get into her garbage.

• A woman on Commerce Way reported receiving harassing text messages from her neighbor.

• A man on West Balsam Street reported to have met two girls on the Internet whose parents were now harassing him.

• A caller reported the theft of his Smith & Wesson .38 revolver.

• Shayla Annmarie Washington was arrested and charged with theft and possession of drug paraphernalia.

• Patrick Everett Welch was arrested and charged with DUI.

Oct. 24

• A mother on Frazey Loop reported her son to be threatening her. He said he was going to burn the house down.

• A caller on Iron Creek Road reported two horses on the loose.

• A man on Commerce Way reported a woman had stolen his phone and was threatening to destroy it.

• Craig Jacob Chamberlain was arrested and charged with probation violation.

• Multiple callers reported loose horses on Iron Creek Road.
