David L. Sokoloski died Saturday, April 27, 2013, after a short stay at Libby Care Center.
At the time of his death, he had his family at his side which included his angel on earth Helen Lemmons.
David was born on Aug. 20, 1928, in Beach, N.D., to Anton and Patricia (Powloski) Sokoloski.
A former U.S. Marine, he is survived by his five children, who include Dan Sokoloski of Asotin, Wash., Debra Sellers of Great Falls, Don Sokoloski of Great Falls, Dean Gregory of Butte, Dorothy Little of Payson, Ariz.; 12 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
A celebration of his life will be scheduled this summer at a time and place to be determined.
