Sheriff’s Report
April 13
• A woman was sleeping in a green pickup with her motor running in George’s Consignment parking lot. She woke up and headed west on Highway 2.
• Three juveniles crawled under the fence of the auto wrecking yard at Pioneer Auto.
• Caller reported finding what appeared to be the remains of a pipe bomb at Williams Creek.
• A woman with a warrant in her name was released from jail because it was full. The woman was given a second warning.
• Caller at J. Neils Park accidentally pocket dialed 911.
April 14
• Caller on Airstrip Road wanted to know if there had been any accidents between Libby and Kalispell that morning. Her husband left Kalispell at 2 a.m. and had not arrived by 5 a.m. She called back at 5:30 a.m. reporting that he had arrived.
• Caller on Champion Haul Road reported unseen parties had shot at her husband the day before.
• Caller on Reese Court reported a turkey had an arrow shot through its body.
• Caller on Lewis Loop reported a disturbance in progress.
• Caller on Park Street came home and found a strange man in his residence.
April 15
• Jamie Phillip Kair and Chance Morris Kair were arrested at Lincoln Lanes Bowling Alley for disorderly conduct.
• Caller on Bull Lake Road found a red-tailed hawk by his front gate. He wanted to know if Fish and Game wanted it.
• Highway patrol put down a deer near mile marker 41 on Highway 2.
• Kalispell Police Department called to confirm a warrant on Elizabeth Diane Nelson.
• Caller on 500 block of Nevada Avenue reported his vehicle was keyed last night.
April 16
• Caller on Tamarack Lane reported a strange person knocking on her windows. This person left a bottle of ketchup on the front porch. She believed it was a man with whom she had formerly had a relationship and was now “stalking” her.
• Caller reported her son had been bullied by an older boy while the two were playing at the park behind the Asa Wood building.
• Caller on Lewis Loop reported an intoxicated man banging on his neighbor’s door. He got in a silver truck and headed south into town.
• Shelby Ward was arrested on a $2,000 warrant at Torgy’s.
April 17
• A family disturbance happened on Flower Street. A woman was yelling and throwing things. A man was transported to St. John’s Lutheran Hospital.
• Young man almost ran caller of the road on Gut Creek Road in Rexford.
• Caller on Fast Lane reported someone had broken into her home and absconded with her laptop.
• Caller on Highway 2 wanted to talk about options regarding his runaway son.
• Employee at Saverite West called for a deputy. He had film of a shoplifter.
• Caller could see a fire in a field from the walking trail behind Libby High School. They thought it might just be someone burning a slash pile but wanted to check to make sure.
• A brown 1980s-pickup parks at the end of the high school’s walking path every day. Caller was concerned and found it suspicious.
• A drunken man was kicked out of the Troy VFW and was lingering outside. The bartender thought he was looking for a fight and wanted him removed.
