March 20
• Brandon V. Hurst was fined $500 and given a suspended sentence of 190 days for driving a vehicle with a suspended license and failing to carry proof of insurance at a traffic stop March 10.

March 16
• A possible party with minors was reported at Pony’s Point gravel pit. A parent was called to come get a white Bronco or it would be towed.
• Caller on East Fork Pipe Creek Road reported a white pickup truck with Oklahoma plates that had been sitting in its location for nearly a week.
• Caller on Pipe Creek Road reported a yellow and a black and maroon Ford that had both gotten stuck off the road near the dump.
• A partner-family assault was reported on Highway 93 north.
March 17
• Michael Early, 33, was arrested on charges of DUI after driving his vehicle into a ditch where Highway 56 meets Highway 2.
• DUI was reported on Orthrop and Tobacco Road in Eureka.
• Caller on Vanderwood Road reported a hospice worker brought him his pills the other day. He now claimed there was methadone and percocet missing. He called back to say he had found them and no police response was needed.
• Caller on Bobtail Road heard shots fired where the herd of elk have been hanging out.
March 18
• Caller on Iron Creek Road in Troy reported someone had stolen his mail from his rural mailbox.
• Several Libby High School students were caught with possession of tobacco products at the school.
• An older silver Buick driven by an elderly female was reported driving across all four lanes of Highway 2 and onto the sidewalk near R and Y Cabinets and continued south.
• Caller reported two suspicious individuals walking around Libby in fatigues. The woman had a tall walking stick and would duck her head down when people passed her like she was talking on the phone.
• Caller on Bull Lake Road reported someone stealing his television on March 13. He heard someone come home and didn’t think anything of it until he heard his wife come home ten minutes later. The television was already gone by then. He didn’t report the theft until now because he was looking for the paperwork on the television.
• Call at the animal shelter reported a man who was bitten by a dog wanted the dog to be put down.
• Caller on Bull Lake Road reported his ex-landlord opened his mail and tried to forge a money order.
• Two boys stole items from a trailer on Highway 2 and left on bikes.
March 19
• Alarm went off at Libby High School, officers responded but it appeared to be a false alarm. This was true even though it went off again.
• Caller in 1200 block of Utah reported his restaurant had been egged and he wanted an officer to come out. The caller had the name of a suspect.
• A black lab was caught in the 500 block of Shalom Drive.
• Caller on Libby Creek Lane reported the sign up to the county road was knocked down. He wanted to let city crews know so they could fix it.
• Caller at Shopko reported a possible warrant suspect at the store. An ambulance transported the person to St. John’s Lutheran Hospital with cuts and abrasions and trouble breathing.
• Starlite Bail Bonds arrested Jeremy Beske, 38, on a warrant for criminal mischief.
March 20
• Caller on Highway 2 asked for a welfare check on her ex-boyfriend. She had called him three times, and he had not answered. He has health problems and she was worried about him. The man was “indisposed” and couldn’t pick up the phone but was fine.
