Judith A. Siefke, 73, of Libby

Judith A. Siefke, 73, of Libby passed away of natural causes on Feb. 28, 2013.

She was born in Spokane, Wash., on Nov. 16, 1939, to Earl and Eloise (Williams) Cook.

She was married to Lyle Siefke on Feb. 15, 1964.  They were married 25 years until his death.

Judy was a wonderful, loving and giving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who enjoyed bingo, crocheting, and her birds. 

She is survived by her daughters, DeeDee (John) Kujawa of Libby, Pam (Jim) Auge of Libby, Jerri (John) Harma of Phoenix, Susan (Joe) Shriner of Libby, and Rhonda (Kelly) O’Brien also of Libby; step-children, Kathy (Richard) Betts of Oregon and Lance Murray of California; grandchildren, Kassi (Zach) Grassi of Spokane, Jacob (Kaleena) Kujawa of Kalispell, Stephen Kujawa of Libby, Shelby (Trevor) Cadwalader of Libby, Ashley Auge of Libby, Kristin Harma of Phoenix, Cody Harma of Phoenix, Cody Shriner of Libby, Crystal Lyle of Missoula, Amber Shriner of Libby, Hannah Shriner of Libby, Selena Shriner of Libby, Evan O’Brien of Libby, Justin O’Brien of Libby;  great-grandchilden, Ethan and Alyssa Cadwalader, Abagail Heaton, and LaNinaya Lyle; sisters;,Kay McKinney of Oregon and Joanne (Jack) Martin of California; brothers, Robert (Nancy) Cook of Spokane, Wash., Rick (Pat) Cook of Oregon, Steve (Linda) Cook of Washington and Kevin (Paula) Cook of Washington along with  numerous foster grandchildren, nieces, nephews, friends and bingo buddies.  

Judy is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Lyle Siefke, and longtime friend and partner Milo Estell.

As per Judy’s wishes, there will be no funeral service. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to Kootenai Kiwanis. 

Judy’s family wishes to thank St. John’s Lutheran Hospital staff for its compassion and caring during mom’s stay. A special thank-you to mom’s caregiver, Monica Rice. She will be greatly missed.
