• Thomas Sigea was given a suspended sentence of 179 days from Oct. 20, 2012 and fined $600 for his first offense of DUI.
Feb. 27
• Michael Roby was fined $600 and given a suspended sentence of 179 days from Dec. 22 for his first offense of DUI.
Feb. 28
• Shannon Hopfinger was fined $350 and given a suspended sentence of 10 days from Feb. 9 for her second offence of operating a vehicle without liability insurance.

Feb. 18
• Caller on Deerwood Lane reported being harassed by a man via phone because he traded two packs of cigarettes for a necklace.
Feb. 19
• Vandals spray-painted vulgar words around J. Neils Park.
• Caller on 5th Street Extension wanted to talk to a deputy about her rental units and tenants threatening her.
• Caller reported a Stihl chainsaw taken from the back of his pickup at Stinger Welding two months ago.
• Injured deer was reported along the side of the road on Bear Creek Road.
• Caller on 9th Street wants to report a theft at his business.
• Caller on Libby Creek Road reported his neighbor riding by on a four-wheeler with two weapons and swearing at him.
• Caller on Shalom Drive reported her neighbor’s dogs leaving droppings all over her front yard.
• Man broke into a camper on 5th Street.
• A woman was yelling for help on Commerce Way.
• Caller on Spencer Road reported his neighbors yelling obscenities at him every time he leaves his home. The neighbors claimed the caller was yelling at them first.
• Caller on Minnesota Avenue reported her truck being broken into the night before.
• Libby Volunteer Fire Department was called for a large fuel spill at Town Pump.
Feb. 20
• The fire alarm was triggered at Libby High School. It turned out to be a false alarm.
• A Kootenai Catering employee was assaulted in an alley while delivering a meal.
• Caller reported trouble with her landlord after she chased turkeys off her property with her service dog.
• Caller on Reese Court reported someone tried to break into his house. The would-be burglar failed, but broke the doorknob.
• Caller reported seeing a late model green Chevy pickup sitting in the parking lot of First Montana Bank taking notes. The caller feared the person might be planning something.
• Caller on Vanderwood Road reported her 8-month old puppy missing after it took off down Highway 2.
• Caller reported being threatened by two men.
Feb. 22
• Brandon John Kinghorn was arrested on 6th Street on an outstanding warrant.
• Shoplifter was caught on camera at Libby Sports Center.
• Caller in 900 block of California Avenue reported a bus driver threatening kids with a stick in the back of the bus.
• Caller on Vanderwood Road wanted to talk to a deputy about a motor not being returned.
• Four alarms were going off in the Post Office after hours.
• Counselor at the Chemical Dependency Clinic reported receiving a phone call from a man that had been drinking heavily. The man hung up the phone after getting into an altercation with a woman.
• Brett Collier was arrested at Aitken’s Quik Stop.
Feb. 23
• A minivan was in the middle of the street at 5th and Wisconsin with airbags deployed and no driver in sight.
• Caller in 400 block of Colorado reported a very large hole in the alley behind her residence. She staked it out for drivers, but wanted to alert the city.
• Caller driving east on Highway 2 reported a man chopping trees near the strawberry patch and one of the trees nearly hit the caller’s car.
• Employee at Saverite West reported a man coming in to purchase gas, saying he had to grab his wallet from his car, and then taking off without ever paying.
• A suspicious light-colored sedan was reported on Manor Drive.
Feb. 24
• The back-door alarm was set off at Empire Foods.
• Caller on Balsam Street said she believed she was scammed. A person called her and told her she had won $300,000 from Reader’s Digest. She gave the caller her credit card number, drivers license number and Social Security number.
• Caller required assistance for a driver whose wheel had come off on Highway 2 near Arabian Lane.
• Caller at Ace Hardware wanted to report a hit-and-run after coming out of the store to find a large dent in the rear driver’s side door of his car.
• Glenn Neidigh, 55, was arrested on a warrant on Cedar Hill Road.
• Caller on Highway 2 and Idaho reported having problems with a woman harassing him.
• Caller on 10th street reported a possible scam by Earthlink Internet calling him and asking him for money.
• Strange-colored chimney smoke was reported on Mahoney Road.
• An arrest was made for criminal contempt. No further information provided.
Feb. 25
• A black wolf was harassing a man’s horses on Highway 2. He wanted permission to shoot it.
