Ministerial Association elects officers; agency is the benevolent arm of area churches

The Libby Ministerial Association, a network of area ministries with a concern to meet various benevolence needs in the community, elected new offiers recently.

The association’s new officers include   the Revs. Charlie Moody, vice president; Judith Ellen Moody, treasurer; Brent Wepprecht, president; and Kevin Lungren, secretary. 

The new Ministerial Association combines the resources of area churches to benefit area residents. Such benevolent acts include providing temporary shelter, gas vouchers, food, prescriptions and more.

The churches participating in the Ministerial Association include the Assembly of God, Christ Lutheran, Church of God, Church of the Nazarene, Eagle Valley Ministries, Family Worship Center, Libby Baptist, Libby Christian, Libby United Methodist, Libby/Troy Catholic, St. John’s Lutheran.

Contributing support organizations are: Community Thrift Shop, Kootenai Valley Christian School, Pregnancy Care Center.

The annual Ministerial Assocation fundraiser is the Sonshine Concert.
