Commissioner's link of Berget and Mother Teresa is a stretch
Letter to the Editor,
I would like to take this opportunity to thank Charles McFarland, aka chancethegardner, for taking the vindictive wrath of Commissioner Tony Berget off of my back as evidenced by Tony’s recent letter to the editor. I should also thank McFarland for his years of public service, most notably on the Libby Volunteer Ambulance, since the commissioner seems to have forgotten that service.
I also want to point out what a consummate politician Commissioner Tony Berget has become. Comparing himself to Mother Teresa is a stroke of genius. I received an email recently where President Obama compared himself to President Abe Lincoln. It had a tremendous impact. Who knew they were both tall, skinny lawyers from Illinois?
The parallels between Tony and Mother Teresa are likewise astounding.
Both urged people to make the world a better place.
Commissioner Berget and Mother Teresa have devoted themselves to helping the poor. There is one family in this town that can thank Tony for lifting them out of poverty.
Mother Teresa is not her real name. Getinformed is not Tony’s real name, even though he commented on the article “Report: Libby must replace dam” under this name.
Mother Teresa had to make many vows to be “married to God.” Tony made a vow to be married to a saint.
Mother Teresa kept her vows. Getinformed is not Tony’s real name.
I can think of one positive thing every registered voter can do for this county next election.
