Lloyd S. Myhre, 82, of Libby

Lloyd S. Myhre, 82, passed away Wednesday, July 24, 2013, at St. John’s Lutheran Hospital in Libby.

He was born May 7, 1931, at Flaxville to Sven and Louise Myhre. He worked at a farm south of Flaxville for his parents.

He married Audrey Nott of Donnybrook, N.D., in 1950 and worked on various farms and ranches. He owned and operated two cab lines from 1952-1955, one in Havre and one in Laurel.

In 1958, they moved to Libby, and he worked for Zonolite until 1960. He drove delivery trucks until 1967 when he then bought his own truck, pulling trailer houses. He drove trucks over-the-road and for road construction from 1970 until 2002. He enjoyed camping, boating, working on cars, dancing and visiting with family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter, Sharon; and a very good friend and companion Geraldine Fletcher.

Survivors include his four children, Leslie (Kathy) Myhre of Libby, Bonnibelle (Dave) Ducello of East Helena, William (Rose) Myhre of Lebanon, Mo., Sandra (Steve) Brown of Farmington, N.H.;  five siblings Elaine (Forest) Martell of Libby, Carrie (Erling) LaSall of Kalispell, Ernest (Linda) Myhre,  Harry (Audrey) Myhre, and Stanley Myhre, all of  Flaxville; 13 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

Visitation was Saturday, July 27, 2013, and Sunday, July 28, at Schnackenberg & Nelson Funeral Home in Libby.  

Funeral will be 1 p.m. Friday, Aug. 2, 2013, at Waller Funeral Home in Scobey.  Graveside service  will take place at Pleasant Prairie Church Cemetery in Flaxville with a reception to follow at the church.
