Myrna L. O'Neil, 71, of Troy

God called Myrna Lee O’Neil home on July 9, 2013. 

Myrna was born Sept. 11, 1941, to Vernon and Myra Smith in Ekalaka. She lived all over Montana with her parents.

In the late ’50s they settled in Troy. She attended and graduated beauty school and also worked on the Libby Dam project as a flagger. 

While working at the dam she met Tom O’Neil. They were married May 17, 1968, and together raised four children and were a help to many others during the years.

Myrna enjoyed hunting, fishing, making candy, crocheting, spoiling her grandchildren, playing with her dog, Skippy, and singing to the Lord.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Vernon and Myra Smith; husband, Tom O’Neil; and grandson, Daniel Stone. 

She is survived by daughters, Deena (Steve) Cook, Diana (Jack) Bauer, Dacia O’Neil, Koni Reynolds ;and one son, Larry (Chris) O’Neil. Also surviving are grandchildren, Katie (Jesse) Reid, Jed Cook, Brant, Ricky and Miranda Bauer, Chris Stone, Devlin Murray, Mike Davis, Kami (DeGeo Schultz), Jaime Bernal and Tim O’Neil; great-grandchildren, Zeeannah and Brooklynn Reid, Ashton Bauer, Skyler, Alex and Sydney Schultz, Ray, Chantel and Carlos Bernal and Netisha O’Neil. Many others called her grandma. She will be very missed.

Service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 20, at the Troy Assembly of God. Burial will follow at Milnor Lake Cemetery
