Lee R. Little, 76, of Libby

Lee R. Little, 76, of Libby passed away Friday, July 12, 2013, at his home in Libby.  

He was born Feb. 6, 1937, in Spokane, Wash., to Jacob W. and Gail G. (Peters) Little. He grew up and attended school in Pleasant Valley and entered the U.S. Navy in 1954. Lee served his country for more than 23 years. On Aug. 14, 1999, he married Beverly, and they made their home in Libby.  He drove school bus for Harlow’s Bus Service for 10 years.  

Lee was a lifetime member of the VFW and a member of the American Legion.  He loved golfing and reading and enjoyed TV. 

Survivors include his wife, Beverly Little of Libby; children, David (Marisa) Little of Bellingham, Wash., Larry (Kris) Little of Canton, Kan., Rusty Little of Canton, Kan.; stepsons, Todd Vandeberg of Superior and Darren Michels of Henderson, Nev.; brother, Chuck Little of northern British Columbia; sister, Anna Lou (Rich) Andersen of New Castle, Wyo., and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

The family will hold a service at 1 p.m. Friday, July 19, 2013, at the McNulty residence, 658 West Second St. Extension in Libby, with a reception to follow at the American Legion.  

Arrangements are under the care of Schnackenberg & Nelson Funeral Home and Crematory of Libby.
