Rosemary T. Hibbs, 77, of Libby

Rosemary T. Hibbs, 77, of Libby died Friday, July 5, 2013, at the Libby Care Center.

Rosemary was born June 29, 1936, in River Falls, Wis., to Clarence and Edith Cernohous. 

On Aug. 19, 1967, Rosemary married the love of her life, Carl L. Hibbs, in Boulder. They made their home in several areas of Northwest and western Montana throughout their lives and settled among the majestic Mission mountains of the Ronan Valley. 

Rosemary was a homemaker, and Carl worked in the mines. Rosemary and Carl were inseparable and did everything together. 

Rosemary enjoyed traveling, arts and crafts, wood working, gardening, country music, Western movies and square dancing. She will be missed immensely. 

A brother, Virgil Cernohous, and husband, Carl L. Hibbs, preceded her in death. Carl passed away on Jan. 11, 2011. Happy trails to you as you begin a new adventure with Carl. 

Survivors include a brother, Cyril  (Pat) Cernohous; children, Allen Hibbs, John Hibbs,  Julie Held and  Carleene Reeder; 12 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. 

A service will be held at a later date.  

Local arrangements are by Schnackenberg & Nelson Funeral Home in Libby.
