Stand up, Libby, for what's right

Letter to the Editor,

Thank you, Geraldine Fink, for saying what so many residents are afraid to speak up and say.  

What the heck are the deer really doing to this town? Grazing on grass, eating some flowers, crossing the road? Well, if you lived out of town, you still would have to build a fence to keep the deer out. You still run a risk of hitting a deer with your car on the open highway, but at a much faster rate of speed.

Many people are upset that Obama was re-elected and further damaging our country, well what the heck do you think the council is doing to Libby? It’s no different, just on a smaller scale. 

Council leaders should promote growth that helps the economics.  Are they purposely discrediting themselves by bringing negative outcomes and feelings? I have lived in many small towns. This is a wonderful town I chose to raise my children and be happy. I realize we do not live in a perfect world, but come on people! 

Pay attention to what is going on around you.

I have kept silent most of my life, because of bullies who think they can shoot down the “smallers.” Not anymore.
