Birth: Colter Canfield

Brooke Lemer and Casey Canfield of Eureka welcomed their first child at 6:40 a.m. Jan. 1, 2013.  

Colter Canfield is the first baby of the year in the Flathead and at North Valley Hospital, weighing 6- pounds, 9-ounces and is 19 inches tall.  

Paternal grandparents are Donald and Linda Canfield of the Flathead. 

Maternal grandfather is Ron Lemer of Eureka.  

Colter’s father works at the Eureka Pellet Mill.  

North Valley Hospital congratulated the family with beautiful gift items for baby Colter and his parents.
