Libby ties for 25th with Ferris at Rocky Mtn. Classic

Greenchain capped off another tough weekend with a 25th place finish at the Jug Beck Rocky Mountain Classic in Missoula Friday and Saturday, tying Ferris (Wash.) with 41 points.

Great Falls won the tournament with 213 points.

This follows Libby’s disappointment against Lake City and Frenchtown on Thursday, Jan. 10.

“We wrestled fairly flat against Lake City,” said Greenchain Head Coach Kelly Morford. “We came out better against Frenchtown.”

The powerful Broncs beat Libby 51-28 to send Greenchain to Jug Beck licking its wounds.

“We were disappointed with the way we wrestled Thursday,” Morford said. “We pushed five guys to the second day.”

Zach Crace, Ricky Roach, Garret Chapel, Josh Bowers and Zach Dolezal made it. Dolezal placed eighth.
