Jan. 28

• Gina Whitmarsh was fined $300 and given a suspended sentence of 10 days  for operating  a vehicle with an expired registration and failure to carry proof on insurance.

Jan. 30

• Keidel B. Kateley was fined $250 for driving without a valid driver’s license and not having both headlights working.

Feb. 1

• Scott Gene Bushnell was fined $100 for fishing without a license.

Feb. 3

• Sean P. O’Brien was fined $250 and given a suspended sentence of 10 days for operating a vehicle without liability insurance.

Feb. 4

• Leonard L. Hubbard was fined $250 for operating a vehicle without liability insurance.

Feb. 8

• Kandis D. Peterson was  fined $1,225 and received a suspended 355 days sentence for aggravated DUI, reckless driving and driving with an open alcoholic beverage in the vehicle.

Feb. 11

• Lacey M. Anderson was fined $200 and sentenced to 40 hours of community service for possessing intoxicating substances under the age of 21.

Lincoln County Sheriff’s Reports

Feb. 7

• Caller reported hearing an alarm go off inside The Printing Press near midnight.

Feb. 8

• Richard M. Wies was arrested on Barnaby Lake Road in Eureka and was transported to Libby. The report did not include a charge.

• Caller at the Libby Library received an obscene phone call.

• Deer was struck in front of Town Pump.

• LVFD was called for a possible fire between Glass and Home Innovations and Ace Hardware. It was a pellet stove in the building.

• Caller on Parmenter Avenue reported there was a camper at a nearby residence with its door open.

Feb. 9

• Rigoberto Amador Ibarra was arrested on Thomas Street for parole violation.

• Two large dogs, one brown and one white, were running loose on Mineral Avenue.

• Caller at St. John’s Lutheran Hospital called the police saying a doctor refused to let them leave, claiming the doctor would call child protective services.

• Caller on Pioneer Road reported Rent-A-Center took some items that weren’t rented when they were in the caller’s house.

Feb. 10

• Caller at Lincoln Lanes reported there was a fight.

• Caller reported she was assaulted at the bowling alley.

• Woman reported she was assaulted at Little Joe’s Trailer Court.

• Caller reported a man stole her Lortabs when he gave her a ride to the hospital.

• Caller on Avenue B reported a highly intoxicated man showed up at his house. The subject was run off and escaped in a black GMC pickup.

• Caller at Luck E G Post reported a theft.

• There was a 911 call at Happy’s Inn reported several vehicles in an accident caused by a deer around the 65 mile-marker.

Feb. 11

• UPS manager reported one of his drivers being bit by an animal near Crystal Creek on Feb. 8.

• A hot tub was stolen on Berger Lane.

• A collision between two vehicles was reported on Highway 2 near Burger Express.

• Andrew Rode was arrested for probation violation.

• Caller from Saverite South reported a theft by two males in a white SUV. 

• Caller reported that after getting into a fight with her boyfriend, he had run off to a “camp party,” where he was beaten up and stabbed. When she tried to call him back, his cell phone was off.

Feb. 12

• Caller on Nevada Avenue wanted to report someone posting a picture of his daughter on the Internet.

• Injured deer was reported on Highway 37 and Park Street.

• Caller on Pioneer Road reported some men removing items from her neighbor’s house.

• Caller reported she had just hit a deer on Highway 2 near Mountain Meadow Road.

• Injured deer was reported on Highway 2 near Cherry Creek Auto Glass.

• Caller on Avenue B asked for assistance in removing a man from his residence.

• Caller on Garden Road reported her nephew ran away two hours ago, and she could not find him.

Feb. 13

• Caller at the Smoke Shack reported they had finally caught a golden lab/retriever mix that was running loose on Highway 2. They wanted Animal Control to respond.

• Caller came in to talk about her 14-year-old daughter being bullied at Libby High School.

• Caller reported theft of property at Stinger Welding. When officers arrived at the home of a former Stinger employee, one of the pieces of property was in his yard.

• Caller in 900 block of Lincoln reported having problems with her ex-boyfriend coming to her residence and breaking things. 

Feb. 14

• Caller on Pioneer Road reported their neighbor’s music was too loud and was keeping her awake.

• Caller in 300 block of Nevada Avenue reported what sounded like a family disturbance in the apartment below. 

• Caller on Highway 2 reported that he had a neighbor help him pack to move, and now his medications were missing. 

• Employee at Montana Athletic Center reported theft from the lockers at the club.

• Theresa Ann Walbridge was arrested for probation violation.

• Caller on Commerce Way wanted to report a man stalking her and refusing to leave her alone.

• Sean Joseph McKee was arrested at Antlers Restaurant for criminal drug possession.

• A burglary was reported on Skyview Drive.

Feb. 15

• Caller reported his MP3 players were sold to a pawn shop when he was living with someone on Park Street.

• Caller in Troy reported a newer white GMC had spun out of his driveway at around 8 a.m. and he wanted to press trespass charges against the driver.

• Michael O’Neill was arrested in Eureka for probation violation.
