Legal case against some county officials based on false accusations, arrest

| February 19, 2013 12:20 PM

Letter to the Editor,

On March 15, 2012, a federal lawsuit was filed against Lincoln County and some of it’s highest-ranking elected officials.

In the interest of informing the citizens of Lincoln County, a website has been set up for the disclosure of the actual complaint, as well as their subsequent responses to the complaint.

The web address is www.lincolncountyofficials.com, which is where concerned citizens can monitor the rulings in this important case, and any subsequent judgments against Lincoln County and the officials who are involved.

A guestbook has been set up, where citizens can provide their names and ask questions and provide feedback, which will be answered directly via the administrator.

This case is especially important to the citizens of Lincoln County because the constitutional violations that have happened in this case, when proven, will bring attention to the elected officials’ past, present and future constitutional violations against the citizens of Lincoln County.

The case has it’s origins, from an alleged personal vendetta from the judge to a citizen of Lincoln County. The judge is a defendant in the case. That judge, the lawsuit alleges, conspired with the sheriff, county attorney’s office and many other law-enforcement personnel to execute a false arrest, illegally plant evidence, fabricate false police reports and subsequently coerce and intimidate witnesses in an attempt to get a conviction.

They lost at a jury trial, as their illegal actions were exposed to a Lincoln County jury.

This lawsuit was kept quiet until now. Get informed citizens.
