KPFL chip event slated for Feb. 23

| February 13, 2013 12:49 PM

Kootenai Pets For Life will hold its next pet micro-chipping event on Saturday Feb. 23 at its shelter on County Shop Road.

Persons interested in having their pets chipped should call 293-4936 for an appointment.

Cost will be $15 for animals adopted from the shelter and $35 for the general public.

Microchips contain information about the owner of the animal and have been responsible for reuniting strayed or lost pets with their owners.

KPFL, Lincoln County Animal Control and local veterinarians are able to read the chips to locate the owners.
