Four Libby Greenchain grapplers place at state

Libby Greenchain took nine athletes to the state tournament in Billings.

Dylan Roby (wrestling for Ty Hight) at 105, Skylar Higareda (135), Ricky Roach (145) and Patrick Valentine (189) were eliminated the first day.

Mitch Haugen ( 135) and Austin Bailey (171) earned second-place finishes.

Zach Crace (125) earned third-place and Garret Chapel (152) fifth. Zack Dolezal was knocked out in the consolation quarterfinals.

Libby sent 12 wrestlers to state last season.

Semifinals:

125- Zach Crace pin Trei Bulluck (Lewiston) 2:36; 152- Spencer Brost (Sidney) pins Garret Chapel 4:47.
