Jan. 15
• Caller on East Cedar reported a deer with a badly broken leg. It took off and was limping.
• Caller reported an injured turkey that needed to be put down was in the middle of Warren Road.
• Caller attempting to serve papers to a woman in Troy was threatened by that woman.
• Caller on Waterfront Road was requesting a welfare check on his daughter. She lives with her mother who drinks and was leaving threatening messages.
Jan. 16
• Caller reported two large black dogs running down Highway 2 from Libby toward Troy.
• Caller reported a fraudulent phone call saying he had won a large amount of money, but needed to buy a money card to access it.
• A buck deer had its antlers stuck in the orange fencing by the boat dock at Riverfront Park. The deer broke free and carried some fencing off into the woods on its antlers.
• Caller on Parmenter Hill reported a white mastiff jumping on cars as they went by.
• Shane Leonard Munday was arrested at the American Legion on a probation violation warrant.
• Michael Edward O’Neill was arrested in Eureka on a probation violation warrant.
• Caller at mile marker four on Highway 37 reported strange lights on the railroad tracks.
• Caller on Highway 2 reported her 14-year-old son was hitting his siblings and screaming obscenities.
• Caller on Main Avenue reported taking her dog outside and hearing a loud crash. She believed someone threw something at her house.
Jan. 17
• A deer was hit on Farm to Market Road near mile marker two.
• A deer was hit on Highway 2 near mile marker 16.
• Caller on Utah Avenue reported someone inside the vacant house below him.
• A white Pontiac was swerving all over Highway 2 near Montana Machine.
• Caller reported a disturbance outside the sheriff’s office. It was a man speaking loudly with his boss.
• Caller on Sometime Creek Lane reported yelling from the residence below her.
• Caller advised it was very slick on Snowshoe Road.
• Vehicle was reported off the road near mile marker 18 on Highway 2.
Jan. 18
• Caller in 700 block of Granite Avenue reported getting into a verbal argument with his son, and his son took off. He was asking for officers to help look for him.
• Caller in 700 block of Commerce Way reported loud upstairs neighbors. Steven Murphy, 26, was arrested when officers arrived at the scene.
• Caller in 800 block of Michigan reported a green Jeep Cherokee tried to run her over.
• Caller on 200 block of Pioneer Road reported her neighbor repeatedly called her and hung up.
• Theft was reported on Mountain Circle.
• Brian Erickson was arrested on Reese Court for probation violation.
• Theft was reported on 10th Street.
Jan. 19
• A suspicious woman was walking down California Avenue. The officer gave her a ride to Warren Road.
• Caller in 700 block of Flower Creek Road asked whether a deputy would talk to his 8-year-old daughter about lying and stealing. He was advised this was a parenting issue, not a law-enforcement issue.
• An assault was reported in the alley behind Rosita’s. It was a man in an argument with his daughter.
• Caller in 200 block of Pioneer Road was receiving threatening phone calls from their neighbor.
• Caller in 1100 block of Old Callahan Creek Road reported an adult man had assaulted her 15-year-old daughter when she tried to stop him from choking his own daughter.
• Rolland Mundale was arrested on an outstanding warrant.
Jan. 20
• Caller reported some individuals lighting fireworks on Lincoln Boulevard and Michigan Avenue.
• A car slid off the road on Highway 2 and Cedar Creek.
• Chimney fire reported at a residence on Granite Creek Road.
• Caller on Spencer Road reported a deer acting very strangely, like it wasn’t in control of its body. It flopped around on the ground, got up and walked away.
• Michael S. Nelson, 39, was arrested on felony charges of possession of drugs.
• Caller on Smith Road reported his brother’s guns had been stolen.
• A man was walking in the middle of Highway 2 making obscene gestures at people.
• Caller on Evans Road reported a woman wouldn’t leave his residence.
Jan. 21
• Caller on Highway 2 reported her ex-husband was making threats to her.
• A deer was struck on Highway 37 between Dream Marine and Pipe Creek.
• Caller in 300 block of Dakota reported hospital workers had started at 6:30 in the morning.
• Caller on Kootenai Drive called 911 and hung up. A call-back revealed it was a little girl who got the phone.
• Caller wanted to report abuse of the elderly because Lincoln County transport didn’t pick them up for two hours.
• Two dogs running free again on Fifth Street Extension.
• Caller on Utah reported a woman stealing his property.
• Audible burglar alarm was heard on Yaak River Road.
• Loud party on Commerce Way woke caller’s children up twice.
Jan. 22
• Caller on Halo Court asked law enforcement officials to take his son while he is at work because he is concerned about the mother of the child.
• A DUI arrest was made by the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Department after a driver “blew hot.” No further details were released.
• A teacher received word there might be a fight between students in the area of St. Joseph Catholic Church.
• Caller on Bunker Hill Road received a call from her “grandson” saying he needed money. She suspected fraud.
• Caller lost his fish finder. It is assumed a fish found it.
• A large lab/St. Bernard mix was running loose on Farm to Market Road.
• Caller reported some suspicious activity from a woman in a white vehicle.
Jan. 23
• Aitkens Quick Stop reported someone stole money from their till.
• Caller on Highway 2 wanted to report being threatened.
• Caller and his landlord received threatening letters with bullets in them.
• Caller reported a disabled vehicle on Highway 37 around mile marker 33.
• Same caller from Halo Court called to get a welfare check on his son.
