Dec. 22
• A Lincoln County deputy was dispatched to the Canadian border for a subject with mental problems that had wandered into the woods. The subject was found.
• A caller on Ramona Drive called to report that her stepmom was outside on the porch screaming. Her father was also outside. Deputies responded to transport a female.
• A deer was hit on Highway 2, mile-marker No. 13 and needed to be put down.
• An intoxicated caller reported that he was assaulted at the Home Bar and the suspect stole a white Subaru from Missoula.
• A caller reported that kids were throwing snowballs at passing vehicles in front of the Libby Café. An officer spoke with individuals and resolved the problem.
Dec. 23
• A resident on Kearney Avenue called to report the neighbor’s German shepherd had come at him in his own carport. This is a repeat problem and Animal Control was contacted.
• A caller on Conifer Road reported that his tire had been slashed.
• A caller reported a fawn that was laying half-in Libby Creek. It appeared to be in need of medical attention.
• A resident on Kootenai River Road called to report theft of mail.
• A non-injury accident was reported at Highway 2, mile-marker No. 52 with minimal damage.
• A woman at Rosauers was reported to be slumped over the steering wheel. Officers responded and female is OK.
• A traffic accident between a vehicle and deer, was reported on Highway 2, mile-marker No. 51.
• A Reese Court resident called to report his residence was broken into and a .270-caliber rifle was missing.
Dec. 24
• A caller reported a truck off the road on Highway 2, mile-marker No. 22.
• Libby Volunteer Fire Department responded to a chimney fire on Granite Creek Road.
• A Washington truck was reported stuck at the Loon Lake Campground.
• A caller reported that two juveniles and an adult were putting holes in the ice on Flower Creek near Balsam and were concerned for their safety.
• A caller reported a silver GMC driving all over the road on Highway 37 near Em-Kayan Village.
• Officers responded to a 911 call. A caller reported he must have hit 911 when putting the phone in his pocket.
• A resident reported a man refusing to leave a residence on Commerce Way. The man was last seen in a red and black Columbia coat.
• Raylene Miller, 25, was arrested on a warrant charge.
