Libby High graduate Jordan Gragert and his Colorado State Rams (7-6) will take on the Washington State Cougars (6-6) in the New Mexico Bowl on Saturday at noon.

The senior right guard will graduate with a double-major in criminal justice and political science.

Jordan’s dad, Pat, left at 5 a.m. Wednesday to make the 1,300 mile trip to Albuquerque.

Gragert and his fellow linemen will look to continue to create holes for running back Kapri Bibbs, who leads  Football Bowl Subdivision running backs with 28 rushing touchdowns this season. Bibbs’ 1,572 rushing yards is eighth-most in the nation.

The game on ESPN will likely be Gragert’s last, according to his father. He is likely to pursue a career utilizing his two degrees.

“Jordan’s tired of getting beat up and dealing with the aches and pains,” Pat said.
