Rebecca Martin, 63, of Troy

Rebecca “Becca” D. Martin, passed away Aug. 19, 2013, at her home in Troy. 

Surrounded by the love of family and friends during these last few months, her passing was peaceful. Her positive attitude, loving and caring spirit were Becca’s trademark throughout her life. Even during the last 20 years with cancer, her generosity and desire to help managed to shine for others to see.

Becca was a master teacher to many, a terrific friend, her husband’s better half and loving mother to two wonderful children and three grandchildren. Her surviving family also includes her mother, sister, three brothers, many nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews. Her in-laws and out-laws are bountiful. 

All who wish to celebrate her life and share their own stories are welcome to join the celebration of her life at the Troy United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall at 4 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 1.
