Chester Jellesed, 60, formerly of Troy
Chester Lee Jellesed, 60, passed away May 29, 2013, in Las Vegas, ending his battle with cancer. He was born in Stanley, N.D., on Jan. 14, 1953, to Earl and Ethel (Sarff) Jellesed.
In 1954, the family moved to Troy where Chester grew up. Later he moved to Washington where he worked and raised his family. He was preceded in death by his parents and a grandson, Chester Lee Jellesed III; two brothers, Charles and Ray.
He is survived by two brothers, Johnny (Gail) Jellesed, Belvin (Karen) Jellesed both of Troy; and a sister, Hazel Holloway of Sacramento, Calif.; children, Kristina Hanks of Federal Way, Wash.; sons, Kristopher (Rachelle) of Tacoma, Wash., Chester Lee Jellesed II of West Port, Wash., and his daughter, Montessa (Bill) Danielson of Las Vegas; his wife, Gayle of Wichita, Kan.; eight grandchildren and one great-grandson.
Memorial services are scheduled for 1 p.m. Aug. 31, 2013, at Door of Hope Church in Troy.
