Loggers fall out to Belgrade in semifinal

The Libby Loggers lost another heart breaker against the Belgrade Bandits, falling 13-5 after losing the lead in the 8th inning of the semifinal game Sunday evening.

The Loggers faced similar defeat against Laurel Dodgers, giving up 3 runs in the 8th to lose the lead and finish the game 5-6 earlier on Sunday.

Coach Kelly Morford could not be reached for comment on the finish.

The Loggers defeated the No. 1 eastern team, the Glasgow Reds, with a 5-2 win pitched by Will Reichel on Saturday before facing Laurel.

Belgrade will face Laurel tomorrow in the championship at 10 a.m.
