Libby’s tennis teams split matches with Columbia Falls on a chilly Tuesday, with the boys winning decisively and the girls falling to the Wildkats.
The boys were led by No. 1 singles Jason Schnackenberg smashing C-Falls’ Caleb Baumann 6-1, 6-1. The Loggers beat the Wildcats, 4-3.
The girls struggled against an athletic Columbia Falls squad as well as against the weather and rubber surface the Wildkats use on their home courts.
The Lady Loggers lost 6-1, the sole win coming as Kaylene Hudson and Kaya Hardgrove stole a win from C-Falls’ Gabby Keller and Micinze Christopherson in the No. 1 doubles 7-6, 5-7, 6-3.

The girls did better, with Krysten Mossburg winning the long jump. Elly Webster, Shae Munro and Cassidy Ennenga also performed well in the jumps.
