Johnston wins Rocky Mountain Shoot Out

Ryggs Johnston, 12, of Libby, won the boys 10-12-years age division at the Rocky Mountain Jr. Golf Shoot Out at Sandia Tourney in Albuquerque, New Mexico on March 30-31.  

He had the lowest combined score of the 73 junior golfers in the tournament; shooting  7-under par. He turned in a 67 for his first round and a 70 for his second round winning by 22 strokes.  Ryggs finished the two day shoot out with 15 birdies and 15 pars.
