Couple is grateful for help during their fire

Letter to the Editor,

We would like to express our sincere gratitude and thanks to the following for all their help and concern during our recent fire: 

Steve Lauer and all the volunteers of the Libby Volunteer Fire Department; the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Department; the Lincoln County Road Department; Chris and Teri Noble and Noble Excavating; our neighbor and friend, Hans Peterson and all of our friends and family.

We, as a community, should feel very fortunate that we have such dedicated and selfless people living here who are willing, at the drop of a hat, to put their lives on the line for the safety and protection of all of us.

They are a big part of what makes Libby the special place that it is. We certainly appreciate them and hope everyone who lives here does, too. Please tell them thanks when you see them for the great work they do every day.
