The Loggers might be missing their non-conference schedule right about now, as Libby’s football team came racing back against a pass-happy Whitefish squad, only to fall 45-29.

While the Bulldog quarterback, Luke May, threw four touchdowns, Libby hurt itself.

Defensive back Sean Foley returned a Jared Winslow interception 27 yards for a touchdown in the first quarter. Shane Marcial slammed the door shut on the Loggers with a 45-yard fumble return in the fourth quarter.

Winslow may not have helped with turnovers, but he got a chance to air it out and keep the Loggers competitive, passing for three scores, including 69-yard and 84-yard passing touchdowns.

Libby went to the locker room down 27-0 at halftime, so the second-half explosion for 29 points was a welcome sign of life.

The Loggers fall to 3-2, 0-1 as the Frenchtown Broncs head to Libby on Friday for homecoming.

Frenchtown beat down Lewistown 36-6 last weekend.

Running back Daniel Lebsock racked up 191 rushing yards and fellow back David Anderson added 144 as the Broncs improved to 2-1.
