Sept. 28

• BNSF reported a man trapped under a 4-wheeler where Fortine Creek Road and Jim Creek Road intersect. Libby and Eureka ambulance responded and gave the all-clear.

• Shop at Mariner’s Haven was broken into again.

• A woman reported her purse stolen from her car on River Road.

• Cody Kusener was arrested on an outstanding warrant.

• Melvin Rowden was arrested on charges of theft, burglary and criminal mischief.

Sept. 29

• Caller reported a deceased deer near their home. They had called it in several times.

• Libby’s Closet wanted to report a theft.

• An arrest was made at the West Kootenai Store for forgery.

• Officers were called to St. John’s Lutheran Hospital’s emergency room to help with a disruptive female.

• Caller reported a party shooting off fireworks on Pipe Creek.

Sept. 30

• Caller reported a bear getting in her garage on Snowshoe Lane.

• Caller reported stolen steel.

• Caller reported a male that released a white mouse into the Pastime Bar, she wanted him removed from the premises.

• A neighbor won’t stop firing guns on Bull Lake Road, reported caller.

• Troy dispatch was called about a report of a stolen truck.

• 911 was called about a male lying in a ditch, he was brought to the police station for safety.

Oct. 1

• Caller on Nevada reported a black bear hanging around the neighborhood at night. 

• Caller hit a deer on Highway 2 and Libby Creek Bridge.

• Caller reported someone had been siphoning his gas on Cedar Street.

• Caller on Ski Road wanted to report someone using his credit card online.

• Caller on Autumn Road reported receiving harassing phone calls from someone.

• Ray Eudell Knight, Jr., was arrested on a probation violation.

• Caller on Loon Connector Road wanted her neighbor to stop shooting weapons.

• Caller at the dialysis center reported he and his family had been receiving harassing phone calls.

• Caller on Park Street reported his phone had just been stolen.

Oct. 2

• Caller on Old Highway 2 reported four horses showed up in his yard and started eating his grass. He was concerned they might create a traffic hazard. 

• Caller advised her soon-to-be ex-husband had just threatened her. She told dispatchers the hotel room he was staying in.

Oct. 3

• Female caller on Timber Lane received harassing texts and calls from a male who then showed up at her house. She was frightened and called 911.

• 911 called by couple stuck in elevator on the basement floor on California Avenue.

• Resident on Fifth Street Extension called to report a strange camper on her property. She wanted an officer to check it out.

• Caller on Glendora Avenue reported a dead deer across from her property. She wanted removed before it started to smell.

• Another dead deer reported on Vanderwood and Rustic Road that had been there for two days.

• Caller on Greers Ferry Road reported a fawn with a strange mass on its chest that had been in his yard the last few nights. He said it was acting strangely.

Oct. 4

• Caller on Obsidian Road requested an ambulance for his wife who was not feeling well after a recent surgery. She was transported to St. John’s Lutheran Hospital.

• Caller on Alpine Road reported two hoses stolen from her front yard.

• A caller was concerned because she had lost her wallet in Shopko.

• Theresa Owens was arrested on an outstanding warrant. 

• A caged unit was requested to transport a female from Three-Corner Road.

• Theft was reported at the Creekside Trailer Court.

Oct. 5

• Caller on Kootenai Drive reported his elderly neighbors were not feeling well and wanted to ask adult protective services to check on them.

• Caller wanted to report uncovered loads on Granite Creek Road they felt it was a environmental hazard.

• Roscoe Benjamin Garrison turned himself in on a warrant.

• Bear was reported around the area of Evans Corner at Parmenter Creek.

• Police received a call about possession of dangerous drugs at Highway 37 and Park Street.

Oct. 6

• Minors in possession of alcohol on Keeler Creek were busted. All parents came and picked up kids.

• Stuart Chad Barney, 26, was arrested on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia.

• A female at St. John’s saw a truck in a ditch at Troops Lake.

• A caller at Mac’s Market reported someone throwing a beer bottle through his car window and slashing two tires. He had some likely suspects.

• A juvenile reported that they went into the Library’s lobby but no one was there. The doors were unlocked after hours.

• Caller on Eighth Street reported someone burglarizing her house, or at least forcing entrance in two consecutive nights.

• Holly Shaferly, 25, was arrested on an outstanding warrant after reporting her boyfriend had hit her. Officers saw the warrant in her name from Whitefish and made the arrest.

Oct. 7

• A male brought in a wallet he found in the 700 block of Lincoln.

• Caller reported a male removing horns from a roadkill deer near Hartman’s Trailer Court.

• Caller reported several items being stolen from a room at the Evergreen Motel.

• A juvenile was transported to Troy Juvenile Detention for her own welfare. 

Oct. 8

• Devin Kyriss was arrested for aggravated DUI near Kootenai Bridge.

• Caller on Farm to Market Road reported a deer with a broken leg in her back yard.

• Caller on Glendora reported a dead deer that is being dragged around by dogs.

• Caller reported several juveniles lighting fireworks at the Jerry Dean Pavilion on Farm to Market Road. 

• Caller in 1500 block of Lolo Avenue reported a deer with an arrow sticking out of its chest had just run through her yard.

• Caller on Fifth Street Exit reported gunshots behind her residence.

• Same caller reported the shots were killing a deer near her residence. Was concerned about the proximity. 

• A couple was having a heated argument at Aitkens South and threats were issued.

• Caller near Hoodoo Mountain pellets reported an injured deer on the road.

• Another injured deer was reported on Snowshoe Road. It had a broken leg. Fish and Game was called.

• Fish and Game was called to put down a struck deer on Highway 93.
