Edith Sausedo, 85, of Libby

Edith Alta Sausedo, 85, of Libby passed away peacefully on Tuesday, Oct.16, 2012, at her home.  

She was born on Oct. 8, 1927, at Absarokee, Mont., to Alta and Harry Hall and was later adopted by Glean and Pearl  Nash.  She was raised in Broadus, Mont., where she met her devoted husband of 56 years, Milton “Joe” Sausedo.   

Edith was a homemaker.  She enjoyed baking, gardening, playing cards, traveling with The Good Sams and was greatly devoted to her church and family.  She had a compassionate and welcoming spirit and will be remembered for her faith, bright laughter and strength that molded her family together.

She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, a daughter Roxanne Scott, sisters Maybelle Decker, Edna Crowley and brothers Melvin Hall and Don Nash.

Survivors include her children, Milton Sausedo, Donna Sausedo, Rosie Lundin, Gloria Lee and Francis Mercer; 15 grandchildren, 41 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

Services will be held Saturday, October 27, 2012 at 2 p.m. at Faith Bible Church in Libby. Arrangements are by Schnackenberg & Nelson Funeral Home & Crematory in Libby.
