| October 10, 2012 2:12 PM

Libby volleyball won its second match of the season, and its second against Frenchtown.

The Lady Loggers improve to 2-7, but 2-4 in conference, good enough to put them in third place, said head coach Cindy Ostrem-Johnston.

After going down 24-18 in the first game, Libby rallied and won 26-24. Libby would sweep the Lady Broncs in the next two games, 25-21, 25-19.

“It was nice to see them prove to themselves they could do it,” Ostrem-Johnston said. “It was a great team effort.”

The Lady Loggers had 12 aces, including 5 from senior Lauren Wepprecht. Kelsey Klin came off the bench and had a 100 percent serve rate.

Wepprecht led the team again in kills, claiming 10 of 30.

The Lady Loggers play Thompson Falls on Tuesday and travel to the Missoula tournament this weekend.
